Hidden inside a living room is the potential for calmness. Hidden inside a large corporate meeting room is the opportunity for warmth and productivity — if accentuated by light exposure, complementary colors, and space constraints. Interior designers must be able to see what’s hidden inside a space to capitalize on its unique features: they must see which natural features may be emphasized or enhanced. But that’s not all.

Interior designers specialize in creating uniquely defined ambience’s that cater to the spatial needs and functional requirements, using a diverse set of skills. In PCC’s Interior Design program, we offer you the opportunity to build a strong foundation in interior design in order to diversify and strengthen your skills. Our program provides you with the skills to bring out the hidden potential in any environment, working to make magic with interiors.

PCC’s Interior Design program is the only two-year degree program in residential interior design available in Oregon and Southern Washington. Our graduates are sought by employers for their unique abilities: adept design problem solving skills, the ability to draw from architectural and art-historical traditions, and interpersonal communication skills, all of which are strongly emphasized.
